THREE (IE 12") [CBS 12-7951]

I pre-ordered this record from George Murray who ran Murray's Record shop in the Grafton Arcade in Dublin.
The vinyl is almost perfect. It looks like it has never been played. I did not like the mix of this song I preferred the demo version I had on tape.
There are some very slight surface marks. There are no scratches or warping.
The cover shows some ring wear but is otherwise unmarked.
The sticker has two tiny creases. These stickers were numbered and added by hand.
Note: The record label has the number 429 written by me in pen. This was it's position in my record collection.
It is pencil thin and should not detract from the enjoyment of this rare item.

Offered for auction is the mega rare U2 - Three Limited Edition hand numbered 12" (#644 of 1000) that is consistently in the top U2 rarities lists in Record Collector magazine and on the want lists of every high end U2 collector. The sleeve is in EX condition with no seam splits. There are no heavy creases, just some wrinkles along the mouth of the cover. The wrinkles are nothing serious. There are no wrinkles that break the color of the sleeve. The record is also in EX condition. Someone has tried washing the record so there are streaks from the washing but these can easily be cleared by a professional cleaning such as by a VPI record cleaner. At an angle, there are some hairline scratches from the sleeve, again nothing serious. You can see in the pictures that Ireland is spelled correctly as "Ireland." I bought this particular copy off eBay several years ago. A copy just sold on eBay March 25th for $5,100.
I have sold other U2 rarities before on eBay including the white vinyl releases. Please see my perfect feedback. I will mail the record worldwide by an Express Service that will be signed for. I will mail the record to Italy but I would like to make sure that it does not get lost in the mail. I sold a copy of U2 Three (#231) on eBay several years ago that was lost by the Italian Post. Postage will be determined at the end of the auction and I will only charge what it truly costs. I usually lose money when I post overseas. I will remove the record from the sleeve when I package it to prevent any seam splits and place the record and cover in separate mylar sleeves. I will mail them in a well padded unbendable mailer.
